About Me

I am an AI Engineer who focuses on making language model applications reliable, measurable, and safe in production.

I started building AI systems because I care about the boundary where probabilistic models interact with real software systems. Making an LLM write a poem is trivial; making an LLM execute a financial transaction safely, grade a university exam within fractions of a point against a rubric, or translate complex legal documents without hallucinating legal terms requires disciplined systems engineering.

In my work:

I build eval gates before building prompts: if you cannot measure regression, you cannot safely iterate.

I design structural guarantees over prompt hopes: if an agent should not access other users' data or execute irreversible writes without permission, that constraint belongs in code, authorization checks, and graph interruptions, not in prompt instructions alone.

I treat backend architecture as foundational: an AI model is only as useful as the queue, database, retry logic, and worker pool that sustain it under real load.

What I Am Looking For

I founded and launched Qenot, which runs in production with 50+ beta users and growing. Outside of my product work, I am seeking an engineering role with a strong engineering team in Colombo (or remote) where I can contribute to high-impact production systems, work alongside experienced mentors, and solve challenging AI systems problems.

I am immediately available for full-time on-site, hybrid, or remote positions.
